Off-campus access to electronic library resources

Connect to WiFi

There are many wireless networks available on campus. The Information Commons Help Desk provides support for 2 networks (UofT and eduroam).

The eduroam Visitor Access (eVA) guest Wi-Fi service is a user-friendly platform that provides secure, high-speed, temporary Wi-Fi internet access to guests visiting the University of Toronto (U of T) campuses.

Computers in the Library:

The Chemistry Library has 7 workstations (5 PC, 2 Mac). These workstations are for use by U of T students, faculty and staff only, and include the following software:

  • ChemDraw
  • MNova
  • SpinWorks
  • Logger Pro 3
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Technology Loans:

The library has a variety of technology items that can be borrowed from the library service desk using your TCard. These include:

  • 2 sets of headphones (wired, on-ear)
  • 2 Android chargers (Micro-USB)
  • 2 iPhone chargers (Lightning)
  • 4 stylus pens
  • 2 HDMI cables
  • 2 extension cords

Technology loans may be borrowed for 5 hours or until the library closes, whichever comes first. Items must be returned to the service desk at least 15 minutes before the library closes - please see our library hours.
